Pledgd ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Pledgd mobile application (the "App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pledgd mobile application ("App") operated by Pledgd ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pledgd. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
To use Pledgd, you must sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Pledgd is a habit tracking application designed for couples. The App allows two connected partners to:
Free Tier: Pledgd offers limited free functionality including up to 3 habits and 2 grace days per month.
Pledgd Pro: The premium subscription unlocks unlimited habits, unlimited grace days, streak shields, advanced statistics, and priority support. Pledgd Pro is available as:
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Pledgd's partner feature allows you to connect with another user. By connecting with a partner, you acknowledge and agree that:
The App, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by Pledgd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you create within the App (habit names, notes, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service. You are solely responsible for the content you create.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Pledgd is a habit tracking tool and does not provide medical, health, financial, or therapeutic advice. Always consult qualified professionals for such matters.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pledgd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of streaks, or interruption of service, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pledgd and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings or by contacting us.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

During onboarding, you'll be given an invite link to send to your partner via iMessage or any messaging app. Your partner downloads Pledgd, creates their account, and opens the link to connect with you. You can also find the invite option in Settings at any time.
Free users get 2 grace days per month — these automatically pause your streak instead of breaking it. Pledgd Pro subscribers get unlimited grace days plus streak shields that protect against a single missed day without using a grace day.
For shared habits, both partners must check in on the same day for the streak to continue. If one partner checks in but the other doesn't (and has no grace days remaining), the shared streak resets. The streak counter increments at midnight local time once both partners have checked in.
Yes. You can skip the partner invite during onboarding and use Pledgd as a personal habit tracker. You can connect with a partner at any time later from Settings. Solo habits work the same way, just without the shared streak mechanic.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Pledgd and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
Go to Settings within the Pledgd app and tap "Delete Account," or email us at brandon@designtorch.xyz with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We'll remove all your data from our systems within 30 days.
